The Innocence of a Child. (Santa’s Real)
Remember the good old days. When nothing really mattered. Your biggest complaint probably was, “I don’t wanna go to school” or “Just 5 more minutes mom!”
No bills, no heartbreaks, just fun and games (and the occasional ‘time out’ or spanking when we got really out of line! lol)
I remember the good ol Christmas days, too, when my believe in Santa was still alive. I was so excited every year because I always thought that eventually I would get to catch Santa in action! (but oddly enough… according to my parents, I ALWAYS “just missed him”)
Well, this Christmas, I was fortunate enough to be able to catch my daughters reaction when she found out that Santa had read her letter, and had brought her presents.
This world would be so much more peaceful if we’d never lost our innocence.
Anyhow, as always, watch the video and please comment. It’s always much appreciated.
God Bless!

Ah yes, lovely child. Many Christmases’ had passed, each a new experience for all eight of them. Seems like only yesterday, they are unwrapping gifts, and now are talking about retiring, wow, how time flies. Just in the beginning stages of going Online for the experience.
Thanks for your presence and kind offers.

Gabriel: hi Talker, Thank you for reading! And yes, Time goes by WAY too fast. happy holidays!
Hi Gabriel,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to You and Your Family!
Very useful post – when we lose the “Child” inside us, we lose our innocence too.
May I repost this in my blog for my European friends?
For one much more peaceful world!
Best Wishes,
Nedko
Gabriel: Yes Frederick, you may repost this
Thanks for reading!
That was tooooo cute
Gabriel: Thank you
Thanks for sharing! Your daughter is really sweet.
Gabriel: Np Tim. Thank YOU for reading & watching
I liked the star. She seems very confortable with the camera. Now you have an actress for some advertising assignment in the future.
Have a Prosperous and Wonderful New Year 2010 !!
Maria-Teresa Araneda
Gabriel: hi Maria, Thanks! Same thing my wife said!
Kids are great aren’t they… My 2 little ones have a great grand mother named Santa, for real; she is from the old country in Italy, short for Santa-Maria but nobody in 80 years has called her anything but Santa.
So it’s nice for my kids to know Santa for real and get to go to “Her” house on Christmas Eve.
Happy Holidays to You All.

Ah, to be young again with all the cool Christmas gifts
nowadays like Guitar hero and Wii
Gabriel: Hey Jenn,
We certainly did have Wii, we had to settle for Atari and Nintendo. Boy has technology advanced.
Thanks for sharing with us. Your daughter is a cutie, I wish they kept that innocence. I love those smiles that just light up their little faces, there’s nothing like it. Enjoy every moment, they grow up so fast.
Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a Wonderful New Year!
Gabriel: Hi Michelle, Happy Holidays To You Too! Yes, the grow up fast… I am trying to enjoy her as much as possible and doing my best to record her moves
That made me smile and feel really good inside when your daughter got so excited. That was special.
I remember that feeling myself. Still feel like a little kid in my heart.
Also what was special was her reaction when you said “I guess you weren’t on the naughty list after all”. That was “a perplexed look”.
Thanks for sharing, Gabriel! – Bob
Gabriel: Hey Bob! Thanks. and yes, that “perplexed look” was priceless. If you watch the video on the Youtube website, you can can see how I placed an Annotation, saying “Daddy say what?”
you can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5EXqmiBUG4
Thanks for the comment!

Hi Gabriel
Your daughter is so sweet and innocent, I have a similar aged daughter as well and I know how innocently still she waits for Santa’s gift and gets excited when she receives that…………..but I would not post her video on the web for others to see…..you never know who all are watching…..so, my request to you would be to take her off the web. I hope you understand……….
