Don’t Lose Focus

Dear Friend,

I came across a content page creator software that’s “free” and it promises to be the greatest thing in the world.

Here are my thoughts as I see people going crazy promoting it.

#1. The software is BRAND new, so why in the world are all these marketers endorsing it like if they already used it, like if they actually tested it, like if they saw great results?

My opinion: they get caught up in “fad” and “hype” and they’re dragging you in.

#2. I thought about downloading & using the software so I could make a humble recommendation, but the truth is, I wouldn’t really know if the page/s I created with it would make me money.

My guess is… probably not. Why? Because I am very busy with my current projects that I know deep inside I won’t actually dedicate myself to try to make this software work for me. That’s a fact for me.

In a nutshell, here are my plans:

  • Build an free affiliate resource center in which I teach people how to market online, and hopefully they’ll “pay” me back by promoting my products. :)

This is affiliate training center is coming out very soon and my subscribers will be the first to hear about it (this includes you). So stay tune!

  • Build my list

That’s it!

Adding anything else to the mix will just be a distraction.

Here’s my point:

Don’t get caught up with the new ‘fad’ ordeal. Stick to your projects!

I jumped around so much in my early days on the net that I never got anything done. Don’t make this mistake.

Finally, I will give the link to the site. You might find it useful if you are into creating content pages stuff, which I am personally not. But if you have “a things to do list” to get done, stick to that, forget the software.

Here Ya Go: ==> www.hypervre.com

All the very best to you & your loved ones,

The problem that causes people to flit from hot item to hot item is the lack of a business plan. Don’t know of anyone that just stumbles into their business.

Those that do create a business have a plan.

Like you I did the flit here flit there thing. made me nada.

Now I build my list and develop my products.

Anything that doesn’t help one of those two things is not for me at this time.

Also, you have gone up a few points in my opinion by not promoting something (at least not directly ;-) you haven’t used.

Happens to be one of my pet peeves with some emails I get.

Keep up the good work.

With this post, you showed integrity and taught people something valuable about business. Focus and a business plan are vital for your business’s success and you showed you have that.

You also acknowledged that many of your subscribers may not have the same focus, goals or business model you do so you gave them access to something that MAY fit their chosen path and you did it without using a referral URL which showed me you have real integrity.

Thank you for your integrity and leading by example.

Jerry

You know, I am so glad to hear someone else echo the very same thing that I have been saying for months now. And you know what else? It’s even worse than just flitting from one thing to another, its actually still working for someone else’s freedom! They aren’t giving you something grand and marvelous at ‘no cost to you’! Heck no, there is always the catch, and that is that it WILL make money for THEM, not you. Seen it too many times.

So the built in distractions are very very intentional. Are you kidding? How many emails do you get a week with the latest greatest used car ‘manifesto’ or ‘business-in-a-box’ that will set you free? Truly…. It’s only for the same few that pat each other on the back as they get access to you and your friends and it never comes back the other way. Yes, it’s an intentional distraction for THEIR elite group to gain and you to buy a ticket in their lottery of choice. Have you ever won?

Listen, I think that affilate marketing is a great way to do business IF and only IF you really believe in what you are selling and that the people on the buying end are actually really truly getting something of value that they will profit from if they can use it. The problem is that most of these so called ‘we care about your – gurus’ is that they KNOW they aren’t selling you anthing more than a ‘bite’ and a pitch for their next product or upgrade. I HATE THAT! Why can’t you get something complete AND keep people wanting more from you because they KNOW you aren’t full of sales pitches and hype. Just real nitty gritty down to earth worth the money programs or info. Do these people exist?

Well, after reading this post today I have to say HOORAY for the little guys! Because for once, someone else has an opinion that isn’t ‘Yep, he is great, his product is great, and buy, buy, buy’ when they themselves don’t have a freaking clue! THANK YOU GABRIEL for having enough chutspah to say the dang truth!

I have downloaded said product, its not working at the present moment, but I am working with the ‘staff’ to see how it goes on getting it working. But of course there are several things you can’t use if you haven’t ‘upgraded to Gold’ of course. And I have yet to see a page produced from it.

Yep, another distraction. I, like to try things out and let people know if they are worth it, and save them some time. I would like very much to get a decent ‘review’ site up and going. Frankly, it saves people time, effort, headaches, and of course money.

Let’s break the chain of the email til your nuts gang, shall we? And start listening to those that really DO have something to benefit YOU, not just them. I get so sick of hearing how THEY made over $100,000 in 2 hours, can you believe it? KACK……that doesn’t mean YOU can or ever will, heck no….but thanks for adding more to THEIR list and pocket…I know you know what I mean.

Well, thanks for letting me rant…and stay focused! We can still win on the internet – YOU and I!

The catch in Hypervre is that if you do not upgrade it is only the google links that will make you any money whatsoever. All the other links are affiliate links for the owner of the software. If you pay for the upgrade then you can change all the links to your own. Do you want to waste your time and effort promoting someone elses affilate links on the off chance you can make a little money on google? Didn’t think so.
It was wise for you not to actively promote something you haven’t tested and tried for yourself. It made all your other advise and teaching worthwile and valuable. Staying forcused on current projects is the key to success. Chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is a falsehood we all must avoid to be succesfull.

Im actually going to fly in the face of many of the posts so far. In my own experience I have bought several products, of varying price ranges from many of the name experts, either affiliate or their own products, and only once have I ever asked for a refund. The real reason most people do not get more out of the products is simply that they DO NOT apply what they learn. Believe it or not we need people to tell us about these great business opportunities – for example there is no way I would have found gabrielles own excellent IPC without someone telling me where to find. I do not begrudge the affiliate his cut (or finders fee) and I do not begrudge paying gabrielle my subscription fee, as both have helped me. Its my own fault if I do nothing with what they have both helped give me.

This is especially true during the ‘flitting’ phase. I think its part of the growing process of becoming an internet marketer. I personally am only just coming out of this phase and I am beginning to set out a formal business plan, but I have spent many many hundreds of dollars, but I feel that without this investment I would not feel confident about selling on the net. When you read into the’gurus’ you will find they too went through this process long before they got to the $100,000 in one week part of their business. And after all if you want to make money on the internet, then you really do need to do what they do, or you may as well go back to the day job – if your product is worth the money you ask then feel NO shame in asking for that money. Its win win for both you and your customer if you provide them a quality product – but its up to your customer to actually use the product.

As an end note I have actually downloaded the program mentioned, but did not take up the OTO. As I have not had a chance to play with it I cannot give you any feedback as yet, but as soon as I do I will give you all an update.

All the best.
