Remember the good old days. When nothing really mattered. Your biggest complaint probably was, “I don’t wanna go to school” or “Just 5 more minutes mom!”

No bills, no heartbreaks, just fun and games (and the occasional ‘time out’ or spanking when we got really out of line! lol)

I remember the good ol Christmas days, too, when my believe in Santa was still alive. I was so excited every year because I always thought that eventually I would get to catch Santa in action! (but oddly enough… according to my parents, I ALWAYS “just missed him”)

Well, this Christmas, I was fortunate enough to be able to catch my daughters reaction when she found out that Santa had read her letter, and had brought her presents.

This world would be so much more peaceful if we’d never lost our innocence.

Hi there,

I love to the internet. Because of it, I am on track to retire at a very young age.

My goal is modest, yet huge in the eyes of many people.

Here’s my goal in a nutshell:

Have enough real estate cash-flow that produces at least $5,000 per month.

As of now, with my newest acquisition (seen in video above)… once they’re rented out… I should be generating about $30,000 per year in NET profits. Which is pretty cool… BECAUSE… I CAN LIVE OFF THAT INCOME.

I have been careful with how I spend my money… I’ve decided it is more important to secure the future of my family, than to purchase big fancy homes and cars that will only suck my bank account dry, instead of making it fatter.

So yeah… i have developed a habit to purchase assets, instead of liabilities. (read rich dad, poor dad book for more on this)

I have also not upgraded my lifestyle very much. I have a better car, better homestead, and I never worry about bills, I eat out A LOT, my daughter has everything she wants and needs and so does my wife.

But there’s something I havent done, which has made all the difference in the world…

Which is…

I have chosen NOT to put a ‘rope around my neck’, sorta speak.

See, most of the time, when a person starts earning good money…

They go buy a HUGE home (liability) and huge car/s (liability) and therefore, they just added a huge monthly bill to their month… a monthly bill which will last for about 30 years!

So even though your income went up, you just increased your bills too..

Sure, you live in the great big home, you drive the fanciest car and your whole neighborhood is jealous… BUT…
You’re still living pay check to paycheck.

I know this guy making $8K a month, who struggles every month to survive; simply because their monthly bills exceed their income. They did it to themselves. Unknowingly probably… but still, I am sure this happens a lot!

Just a few day ago, I was watching the Dr. Phil show…

It was about this guy who got himself a 6-figure per year job working in the IT industry… him and his wife urgently bought a 4.5 MILLION dollar home.

Yes… a 4.5 MIL house, for just 2 people.

They also got a couple of luxury cars.

Then, a few years later…

He lost his job. And they lost everything.

They’re now living in a motel.

Had he chosen to delay his gratification for a while… Maybe buy a nice “normal” size home, buy a nice but not insanely expensive car; and also buy a couple of rental properties (to create positive cashflow)

Maybe… things woulda been different. Maybe.

Anyhow, everyone has their own plan of action. Mine is simple. Invest in real estate now, and then buy all the fancy toys, but only once money is WORKING for ME like crazy… instead of when I am still the one working for money.

Sadly, no one ever talks about this stuff in school. They just program us to: go to college, so you can get a good job, so you can buy a big nice liability (i mean, house), and your dream car, of course.

And most people follow this advice.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with such advice, and if you dont mind the thought of having to work the rest of your life, just to pay bills… then this plan may be right for you.

Personally, I love the idea of making money work for me. And although there’s various investment options… I chose Real Estate simply because it is simple to understand.

You just look for deals that look like “good deals” -- and buy them.

That’s it. I dont do any “rocket science” stuff. Yes, ive learned a few cool things along the way… but the fact is ANYONE can get into real estate and do well early.

HOWEVER… you NEED money.

That’s where the Internet comes in…

That’s where you create the income thats gonna fund your empire!

WARNING: It is 9AM and I haven’t slept AT ALL. So forgive the rant, and all the grammatical errors. lol

“Failure Sucks!” or does it?

On a different note…

Did you see UFC 104 this Saturday? Machida Vs. Shogun
(UFC stands for Ultimate Fighting Challenge – it is sorta of “Cage Fighting” where two dudes get in a cage and try to knock each others head out) It’s pretty fun to watch, actually)

Anyhow, the guy I was rooting for won, BUT I think he actually LOST! The other dude got robbed!

My point?

Shogun Rua (the guy who lost) said he had trained very hard for four months (average training camp for fighters is 6-8 weeks)… So this guy went the extra mile, he said he had a child coming, so this was motivating him to train like crazy cuz he knew a win against Machida would not only make him the CHAMPION, but would guarantee him HUGE HUGE money (for him and for his family)

Bottom line…

Shogun clearly won the fight, but Machida was awarded the win. And even though I was rooting for Machida, I can’t help but to feel bad for Rua, because he did everything right, for the right reasons and still “came up short”

Can you imagine how this guy feels? (keep reading… my point is COMING SOON!)

He just went thru hell for four months… and he’s dream was just snatched from him by poor judgment from the judges…

Here’s my point…

WE HAVE ALL worked hard for stuff at some point or another… And then WE END UP FAILING!

It happens. It’s horrible. It sucks.

You end up wondering… “What in the world just happened?”

It’s happened to me… A LOT. I’ve launched projects which have failed miserably. And then you’re left to question your personal abilities, you get sad, upset and consider quitting…

Rigs a bell?

It happens. To everyone!

But you know what?

Once you learn and understand that YOU ARE NOT the only one who fails at things… you start to handle failure in a much positive way.

See… EVERYONE fails. BUT ONLY those who EMBRACE failure prevail.

If you keep failing, and you keep trying, you will eventually NOT fail. Then you will fail again, and maybe again, but then you WILL, again, eventually succeed.

So your job is to fail as fast as humanly possible, so you can run into “successes” faster. And when you fail, don’t cry about it for too long.

Analyze the situation, try to figure out “What went wrong” and pull the trigger yet again. It’s the only way. There’s no easier way. And if you find one… please, do tell

Hmm… this turned out to be a pretty long email… maybe I should turn it into a blog post? yah, maybe. maybe not.

(Side note: this was originally supposed to be an email to my loyal customers & subscribers, got a little too long… hence, it’s now a blog post)

So will this email turn into a blog post at GabrielAguinaga.com?

I’m not sure… I am not sure about anything (honestly) lol Only that I have to pay taxes, that I will certainly die one day, and that Success is merely a byproduct of constant, unadulterated failure.

Finally, to conclude, I just want to say that I hope Shogun deals with this failure in a positive way and that he continues to train with the same passion and intensity as he did for this fight…

If he does… then there’s no doubt that we will see him become a champion, sooner or later (maybe later then sooner)… but he will reach his goal.

And oh yeah… I’ve decided… this will be a blog post… so, go ahead and leave a comment below; good or bad… I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I left the misspelled words, just to see what happened… well, more tickets came in of people asking why we had typos…

See, after about a week, I fixed the typos and I quickly noticed I was getting a bit more sales!

I think the reason typos were hurting our sales was because visitors were questioning our professionalism.

After all, if you truly are a professional online business… shouldn’t you be hiring employees who can spell?

So they probably think something like:

“You want me to buy from you? a ‘so-called’ professional company, with a secure server, but with staff members who can’t even spell?”

“Sorry. No Thanks. Bye”

Maybe that’s a bit extreme.

But my point is this… if you give your visitors “doubts” about ordering…

If he starts asking himself things like: “Why are there misspellings; maybe they’re not legit”

Chances are you’ll lose the sale.

People will have doubts. But lets not give them ‘doubts’ which we can easily avoid by paying more attention to our spelling.

(That’s all I’m saying

I thought it was weird. All this time I had never really cared much about typos, because I learned early in my career that “typos” on sales sites were actually somewhat “Good” – when in reality… this “typo theory” has probably helped me LOSE many sales.

My Advice To You:

Don’t be lazy. Make an effort, check your spelling!

how to be productive – Gabriel Style. :)

Hi there,

As you may know, building a business can be tough.

It requires a lot of hard work, and will.

Will to keep fighting and moving forward even when adversity strikes.

I say this because my “WILL” is being tested again.

You see, I am currently working on a project which is taking longer than expected to complete due to some unforeseen issues.

A few times I have been tempted to just leave the project.

But then again, I am well aware that I became successful because of my ability to set goals and move towards them no matter what.

Needless to say, I will NOT move into another project until this one is complete. Period.

I want to advise you to do the same.

Do not leave unfinished projects.

Finish what you start.

Sometimes you may be working on something, then months go by, and you may say…
“This idea won’t work anymore… it got old”

So you move on to something new.

Listen, FINISH it.

Here’s a quote I like:
“What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals”

So, even if you project fails miserably (which btw, a lot of them will), you can still checkmark this as a SUCCESS. Just the fact that you were able to complete your project will put you one step ahead of those who simply get “great ideas” but they never turn them into reality.

Also, if you “strikeout” on enough projects… you will eventually hit one that produces the results you are after.

The key here is to finish what you start.

Furthermore, an idea in your head is worthless if it stays there. You need to start working on it and make a commitment to finish it, even if doubt starts to creep up on you.

One Piece At A Time:

It is easy to get distracted and even easier to procrastinate.

You check your email, visit forums, go to YouTube, check your facebook account, go to Twitter, chat with your buddy on Messenger, and by the time you know it… a few hours went by and you didn’t get anything productive done.

Sound familiar?

Believe me… I’m that kind of person.

I get easily distracted and being “productive” is as hard for me as it may be for you.

THE SOLUTION?

I want to share with you what I’ve been doing lately to get as much productive work done on a daily basis.

First of all, if you make a commitment to “work” on productive activities just 2 hours a day, I guarantee you’ll be amazed by how much you can get done. But again, the hard part is to lock the distractions out, get your “work face” on and start getting things done.

Here’s what I am doing:

I wake up and write up a small list of productive things to do.

For example:

- Tweak my ad words account.
- Create a new ad words campaign.
- Talk to my Programmer about X issue.
- Load up the emails into aweber.
- Talk to “X Marketer” about doing an ad swap.

So, now I know my tasks for the day. If I do this, I know I did something productive. Little things that if done often enough will lead to bigger better things.

Next…

When I’m about to get my “work face” on, I put on my headphones and play a song that pumps me up.

I put the song on “repeat” and work on my task until I’m done.

That’s it. That’s what I do and it’s been working wonderfully for me.

Now, my taste of music may be way different than yours… I personally get motivated to a “rap” song. Which I am sure a lot of my subscribers hate. LOL

But that’s not important. Just find a song that gets you going, and be productive!

Now… I thought about this long and hard…

I didn’t want to post the song because some people may be offended (the raw version is a little explicit, but the one I listen to had the bad words removed)

Anyhow, I decided to post it because I realized that I won’t be prosecuted for placing a song I like on my blog, right?

The “hook” says:

“This is…

10% luck
20% skill
15% concentrated power of will
5% pleasure and 50% percent pain
and 100% reason to remember the name”

And honestly, the reason I like it is because (for me) running a successful internet business feels like it is … 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure and 50% percent pain.

Sound Crazy? May be.

the ONE Book EVERYONE should read!

Hi There,

Gabriel Aguiñaga here, with a quick message.

Everybody reads books, right?

well, almost everybody…

I mean, I’ve personally read quite a few
in my 26 years of existence, but if there’s
one book which truly changed the way I look
at life itself… It’s a book by a man named
Robert Kiyosaki.

You probably already heard of it, maybe
you already read it…

The name of the book is ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’
and let me tell you… this is one book that I
honestly believe everyone, and I mean EVERYONE
MUST read.

You see, I’m in a quest to become financially
wealthy and although I already earn a great income,
the trick here is not making a lot of m0ney, the
real trick is learning how to *KEEP* it.

Seriously, if it wasn’t for this great book
I probably would’ve already burned through most
the online income I’ve earned…

By now, I probably would’ve had at least
two Hummers and probably would’ve spent a
good portion of my income on fancy vacations.

But check this out…

Even though my monthly income has sky rocketed,
I have refused to upgrade my lifestyle. I still
live in the same place, eat at the same
restaurants, and shop at the same stores…

You see, wealth is not measured by how nice
your clothes are or by how fancy your car is…

Do you wanna know how wealthy you are?

if I hadn’t read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ by Mr.
Robert Kiyosaki.

So what’s my point?

Listen, maybe you’re already making a killing
online, or maybe you will one day…

When you do, be smart with your m0ney.

“Being” wealthy and just “looking” wealthy
are two very different things

Bottom-line is this:

Get out there and search for this wonderful
book, which I highly recommend.

I know for a fact that you can find this book
at Amazon .Com for about 10 bucks or maybe even
less; so go grab yourself a copy, and while
you’re at it, buy one for a loved one… it

The Nonsense Has To Stop!

Hi There,

Gabriel Aguinaga here.

Recently a new product launched called “CB Affiliate Formula” and the price is $77 per month…

I did Not buy this product.

But based on what I’ve been hearing… it is not worth the $77 per month.
(I’ve read some pretty bad stuff about this product on the forums – from regular people, who feel ripped off)

I am not going to bash Andrews’s product this time around, for 1 reason…

REASON: I haven’t reviewed the product myself and I after my previous experience with another one of his products, I am in no mood to review anything else from him (not at this time at least)

But lets just get into why this Internet Marketing niche is starting to bother me…

I hate it that Influential Marketers with good sized opt in lists put themselves in a position where THEY HAVE TO recommend worthless, overpriced products to their subscribers.

Let me explain with a scenario:

Guru “Bob” promotes a product for guru “Steve” and guru Bob makes a ton of sales.

Guru Steve is extremely happy with Bob and now feels HE OWES Bob a favor.

Now, a few months later Bob creates a product (which happens to be worthless) and asks Steve if he can promote it to his list…

Steve feels he HAS TO because he “owes” Bob a favor, so Steve agrees to send out a mailing to his subscribers.

At this point Steve may or may not know that he is about to “recommend” a crappy product to his list… but it doesn’t matter… because he IS STILL going to promote it.

He has to; remember? He owes it to Bob.

Well, obviously Bob and Steve are made up gurus, but the scenario is very much real. It happens all the time and everyone benefits but YOU – the aspiring entrepreneur who gets sucked in by all the hype.

Listen, I love the Internet Marketing niche… I love the fact that my subscribers are people very similar to me… they are all business-minded people who are looking to explode their income… AND this is a niche with a lot of money up for grabs as well.

BUT… this niche can also force some people to recommend stuff they don’t really believe in. Products that don’t come close to delivering what they promise and that end up being consumed by innocent ‘hope-filled’ buyers.

And My Point Is…

It truly upsets me when I see crappy products been pushed like crazy, with no regard as to who is ultimately being affected. This nonsense has to stop already.

SIDENOTE: I do apologize for not having a concrete review for you today, but I’ve decided to only waste my time and energy reviewing products that “look” like they will pass the test. If I don’t even attempt to review them, that’s because I feel they probably aren’t worth the time.

Anyhow…

I am currently working on a home study course that will be truly amazing.

I will make sure that everyone who takes my Internet marketing course will say “WOW – it was about time someone released this stuff!”

There’s no telling when the course will be ready, but when it is, you can be sure that you will be highly surprised with the angle I am taking. That’s all I am saying.
