I’m Back My Friends!

Wednesday September 20th, 2006 @ 6:45 am

Hi There,

I just got back from Mike Filsaime’s TIMME seminar in Baltimore and let me tell ya, it was awesome!

I had never been in a room with so many like-minded individuals. Picture that, 400 (or more) people gathered because they want one thing… to MAKE M0RE M0NEY!

Also, I was so surprised when a person came up to me and asked, “You’re Gabriel Right?”

I was like… “Yeah — I’m Gabriel!”

He mentioned that he had just purchased my software program and the he was a huge fan of my work.

WOW. I felt all warm inside… there’s nothing better than a happy customer!

By the time the seminar was over… I had 3 people come up to me and give me similar comments.

It was so exciting!

‘So Was The Info Given at The Seminar Good?’

YES — and I will be sharing with you some of what I learned in the coming months.

Overall:

   o You MUST take action.
   o You MUST stay focused.

Pick something and try your best to get really good at it.

For example, if you choose “list-building”, which is what I chose — then devote your time to learning everything you can about list-building and make it a priority to totally master it.

Don’t try to be mediocre at a lot of things… become great at ONE thing and you’ll make real m0ney. That’s a promise!

Try it and you’ll see how true this is.

On a different note, my Affiliate Training Center is just about done and I decided to open the doors today.

Don’t worry, nothing to buy, you can sign up for free.

That’s all for now.

10 Killer Benefits of Owning a Paid Membership Site

Monday August 21st, 2006 @ 5:00 pm

Hi There,

As a successful owner of a paid membership site myself (InstantProfitsCenter.com), I can tell you from experience that the rewards of owning your own paid membership site are just amazing.

If you haven’t considered starting your own membership site, you truly must… here are 10 reasons why:

1. You will be a part of a fast-growing and dynamic industry.

Since the birth of paid membership sites five years ago, it has expanded to become the industry that we know now. And there still is a lot of space for improvements in this industry. The possibilities are endless, and it rests in your hands.

2. You can work from your home.

You do not have to leave the house to earn money. All you have to do is build your website, equip it with wonderful services and earn lots of money the easy way.

3. You can do more with your time.

You do not have to be there all day and all night just for you to earn money. Because of the emergence of technology such as Autoresponders and pay systems over the internet, money will come to you even if you are out on vacation, or sleeping.

4. You can start your own business using a small capital.

You do not have to worry much about the big sum of money that you will be spending in starting a paid membership site.

There are products available online that can help you start your membership sites. And you can purchase them at around $200 or less, depending on the product that you chose.

And since you are dealing with digital products, you do not have to worry about initial capital in producing them.

You also cut down on the shipping costs, etc.

5. Paid membership sites generate a greater sum of money on members alone.

Unlike e-books, paid memberships generate a greater income per month. Your income does not have to rely on the sales of an e-book. When you engage in paid membership sites, as long as you have members, the money will just keep on flowing.

6. You are certain when it comes to monthly income.

The sad part about other online businesses that sells products is its uncertainty when it comes to income. Even if you are doing a wonderful advertisement campaign, there is no telling as to how far it will be successful when it comes to sales.

In paid membership sites, you are aware of the income that you will get per period since you have a concrete list of members subscribed to your service.

7. You can use the customers’ need for information as a springboard to income.

People nowadays are looking for the latest information regarding various topics. That fact can be harnessed to your advantage. By offering wonderful information, you can lure clients to your site, thus increasing your income.

8. You have the option to work on a topic that is close to your heart or profession.

Other people might say that when they engage to online business, they would not be able to use what they have learned in college, or they are confined to something that they are not interested in. That is a wrong assumption.

In paid membership sites, you have the power to choose what topic your site will focus on. In that way, it will be more interesting on your part too.

9. You can setup as many membership sites as you want.

You are not limited to one site. With the automation features available in online businesses, you will be able to manage more than one paid membership site. Thus, your money-making opportunities will expand.

10. There are other ways to maximize money by offering your site as an advertisement opportunity.

Get advertisers to invest in your specialized membership site. As long as your site is connected to the company’s products, you will be able to get extra cash from them too. You do not have to spend cash just to do this. But you might change your site a bit to accommodate the needs of the advertisers.

With all the benefits that paid membership sites offer, why would you allow yourself to be left behind?

Hope this helps. :)

All the best,
Gabriel Aguinaga

Don’t Lose Focus

Monday July 24th, 2006 @ 1:51 am

Dear Friend,

I came across a content page creator software that’s “free” and it promises to be the greatest thing in the world.

Here are my thoughts as I see people going crazy promoting it.

#1. The software is BRAND new, so why in the world are all these marketers endorsing it like if they already used it, like if they actually tested it, like if they saw great results?

My opinion: they get caught up in “fad” and “hype” and they’re dragging you in.

#2. I thought about downloading & using the software so I could make a humble recommendation, but the truth is, I wouldn’t really know if the page/s I created with it would make me money.

My guess is… probably not. Why? Because I am very busy with my current projects that I know deep inside I won’t actually dedicate myself to try to make this software work for me. That’s a fact for me.

In a nutshell, here are my plans:

  • Build an free affiliate resource center in which I teach people how to market online, and hopefully they’ll “pay” me back by promoting my products. :)

This is affiliate training center is coming out very soon and my subscribers will be the first to hear about it (this includes you). So stay tune!

  • Build my list

That’s it!

Adding anything else to the mix will just be a distraction.

Here’s my point:

Don’t get caught up with the new ‘fad’ ordeal. Stick to your projects!

I jumped around so much in my early days on the net that I never got anything done. Don’t make this mistake.

Finally, I will give the link to the site. You might find it useful if you are into creating content pages stuff, which I am personally not. But if you have “a things to do list” to get done, stick to that, forget the software.

A Few Words About Outsourcing

Wednesday June 28th, 2006 @ 10:16 pm

Dear Valued Subscriber,

Today I want to talk to you a little bit (and give you a couple of GREAT tips) about outsourcing; primarily outsourcing at places such as scriptlance.com, elance.com and the alike.

You may not find my advice useful today, but I am SURE it can save you (and make you) a lot of money one day.

Okay, so what’s outsourcing?

According to Dictionary.com:
“obtaining goods or services from an outside supplier; to contract work out; “Many companies outsource and hire consultants rather in order to maintain a flexible workforce”

So yeah, it basically means to hire people to do stuff for you.

I rely heavily on outsourcing when it comes to software programming, article writing and complicated script installations.

Here’s how outsourcing for software and/or custom made scripts works.

Let’s suppose you have a great idea for a software program… BUT you are not a programmer!

What do you do?

You head on over to scriptlance.com, create an account and post your project.

Programmers will start bidding rather quickly, usually like an hour after you posted. (many programmers will bid on your project and you get to choose who works on it)

How much can you expect to pay for a software program or script?

Well, that depends on the complexity of your project, but I usually pay about $200-$500.

But remember, it will be YOUR Software, or YOUR Script! If you have a strategy in place, you will easily recoup your investment.

Here are some tips to follow:

TIP #1:
Always have a very detailed project description, and I do mean VERY detailed.

Do not just post a brief explanation, here’s why:

Lets say you post a brief explanation and a programmer bids $100 to complete your project.

Awesome, right? You’re about to have your software program created for only 100 bucks, right? Wrong.

Once you hire the programmer, and you start being more detailed…

He’ll tell you something like: “You do realize that this is beyond the scope of the project?”

In other words: “You are going to have to pay me more”

Yes, I am guilty. The very first time I posted a project I ended up paying close to $500 for what was supposed to cost me $75. Yikes.

But I learned my lesson. I now write very detailed descriptions, some times about 4-6 pages long. (Hey, that extra bit of writing will save you some moola)

Tip #2:
Stay in touch with the programmer if you liked his/her work.

Yes, ask for their messenger Ids or even their phone numbers. Be nice to them, respectful, let them know that their work kicks-butt! (feed their ego)

Why?

Because they’ll like you and if you ever need another project done… they’ll gladly do it and they’ll probably be more reasonable on the price.

Outsourcing Articles.

First of all, let me start by saying that I personally write everything I send you, as well as every post on GabrielAguinaga.com. (You can probably tell)

Anyhow, I don’t have to tell you about the many benefits that come from article writing… but the main reason I started outsourcing articles was because I created a site named: InstantProfitsCenter.com

As part of the membership, members get 20 original Private Label Articles per month. Frankly, I don’t have the time, patience or writing skills to churn out 20 original articles per month. (700+ words each)

So I outsource them.

Listen, you don’t have to have a private site like mine to outsource articles… if you cannot write, then you can simply get them written for you (about $10 per article) at Elance.com Or you can always join IPC and get 20 orginal articles you can call your own every month… and for a very low monthly fee. :)

Here’s the TIP:

If you are going to outsource, lets say, 15 articles.

Post 3 different projects for 5 articles each.

This way you can have 3 different writers work on your articles.

WHY?

Because once you get them completed, you’ll be able to decided whose writing style you like best, and you can then hire that one person for all you articles writing duties. Simple, but effective.

Alrighty… that’s pretty much all I have to say about that. :)

Finally, please excuse any grammatical errors. I just sit, type and pay little or no attention to grammar; after all, this is not an English class, right?

Do As They DO, Not As They SAY…

Thursday May 25th, 2006 @ 1:00 am

Hello Valued Subscriber,

Okay, This is my first post and I would like to take this time to thank you for putting up with my emails… it means a lot to me.

So, Thank You! :)

I keep preaching to my subscribers about how important it is to build a list; in fact, not long ago I sent out a video which you all loved.

How do I know?

Well, I did read ALL your wonderful email responses, but it was physically impossible to respond to all of them.

Here’s the link to the video just in case you missed it:
http://www.guaranteedpayouts.com/NewbieVideo/BuildYourList/

I understand that by now you must have been bombarded with tons of email promoting Keith Wellman’s List Building Home Study Course. (I would be very surprised if you haven’t)

Anyhow, here’s my take on Keith’s TheListFX.

Do as they DO and NOT as they SAY.

Do not get me wrong… I bought Keith’s package and that must’ve been the best $9.95 I’ve ever spent. I’ve only listened to one List Building Interview so far; it was with ‘Super Affiliate’ Ewen Chia… Yes, I loved it!

Alright, the product is great and for under 10 bucks you truly must get your hands on it. You can read more about it by clicking here.

What I am more concerned about is… that you analyze Keith’s take on this product launch, so you can potentially bank huge profits yourself.

Here’s the lesson I learned:

  • Make a GREAT product. If you aren’t an avid product creator, you can do what Keith did and interview successful marketers.
  • Release a mini-version of the product to build interest. Warning: this version has to be of great value or this can backfire.
  • Setup a blog and encourage people to post by offering a FREE version of your FULL product. Keith gave 20 products away for free… he just choose 20 posts at random. If your mini-version is good, people will post supportive comments for all your visitors to see. (This will create anticipation for your launch)
  • Inflate Perceived Value. Keith sent a video out to his list in which he told them more about his product. Frankly, after watching the video… I was convinced that this was going to be a $197-$297 product.
  • Price the product so low that EVERYONE will feel dumb if they didn’t buy. Think about it, I went to Keith’s site expecting a $197 price tag, and when I saw $9.95 on the order button… I was like… “WHAT?!”
I didn’t even give it a second thought.
  • Pay 100% commission to affiliates. Yes, encourage people to promote your product by letting them keep 100% of the sales they refer. Why? Well, “the money is the list” – and if you do this, people will be extremely happy to promote your product… they get 100% commission… and you build a list of proven buyers (a total win-win).
  • Have a good upsell/One-time-Offer set up. Since you’ll be giving 100% commission on the front end, you need to make sure you have a quality complimentary product to upsell. You can either keep all the profits or pay a commission to selected JV partners on this.

I realize that all this is much easier said than done, but that doesn’t mean you cannot do it.

You see, I was about to release a product very soon… but I placed it on hold because I am going to implement what I learned from Keith’s launch.

Conclusion: I got a great product about list building on my hands and some marvelous ideas on how to launch my next product.

Please try to look beyond the products being offered… you can potentially skyrocket your profits if you just try to DO what the “Gurus” DO, not just what they SAY.

Hope I made a little sense.

Until Next Time,
Gabriel Aguinaga

P.S. If you haven’t done so yet, I highly recommend you  grab yourself a copy of TheListFX. Click Here to learn more about how it can help you bank more profits this year.
