the ONE Book EVERYONE should read!

Hi There,

Gabriel Aguiñaga here, with a quick message.

Everybody reads books, right?

well, almost everybody…

I mean, I’ve personally read quite a few
in my 26 years of existence, but if there’s
one book which truly changed the way I look
at life itself… It’s a book by a man named
Robert Kiyosaki.

You probably already heard of it, maybe
you already read it…

The name of the book is ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’
and let me tell you… this is one book that I
honestly believe everyone, and I mean EVERYONE
MUST read.

You see, I’m in a quest to become financially
wealthy and although I already earn a great income,
the trick here is not making a lot of m0ney, the
real trick is learning how to *KEEP* it.

Seriously, if it wasn’t for this great book
I probably would’ve already burned through most
the online income I’ve earned…

By now, I probably would’ve had at least
two Hummers and probably would’ve spent a
good portion of my income on fancy vacations.

But check this out…

Even though my monthly income has sky rocketed,
I have refused to upgrade my lifestyle. I still
live in the same place, eat at the same
restaurants, and shop at the same stores…

You see, wealth is not measured by how nice
your clothes are or by how fancy your car is…

Do you wanna know how wealthy you are?

***********************************************
SIDENOTE:

Although there isn’t an “official” method for
measuring wealth, here’s an interesting question
that may produce a “fair” measurement…
***********************************************

Answer this:

If you would stop working tomorrow, how many
months could you survive, maintaining your current
lifestyle?

Now, I’m not trying to brag, but I personally
would be able to survive at least five years if
I were to maintain this current lifestyle…

That’s pretty cool stuff if you ask me :)

…But I certainly wouldn’t be in this position
if I hadn’t read ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ by Mr.
Robert Kiyosaki.

So what’s my point?

Listen, maybe you’re already making a killing
online, or maybe you will one day…

When you do, be smart with your m0ney.

“Being” wealthy and just “looking” wealthy
are two very different things :)

Bottom-line is this:

Get out there and search for this wonderful
book, which I highly recommend.

I know for a fact that you can find this book
at Amazon .Com for about 10 bucks or maybe even
less; so go grab yourself a copy, and while
you’re at it, buy one for a loved one… it
will make a great Christmas gift. :)
That’s all for now…

Take Care and God Bless!

To Our Success & Happiness,
Gabriel Aguinaga

MUST Read? Then please post it here!

Another great book that I was directed to was “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles. Now I realize there is a lot of hype online right now surrounding the title of the book, but I read this book many years ago and realize that I should have studied and read it again and again. Then put the principles into practise on a daily basis.
However ‘better late then never’ applies to me in this case. :-)
And I am now starting to see small results …tiny… but still there and that is the important part. It’s all about the babysteps that eventually turn into the giantsteps!
Thanks for a great blog Gabriel with such good content.

I agree that Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a must. Too many live just beyond their income, and never attain the position of true financial freedom. Too many are counting on somebody to provide their income, such as Social Security (what a joke), or minimally funded 401k, or a pension from a generous employer, instead of taking control of their destiny.

Your question, “How long could you go without working?” is very thought provoking. And would be a wake up call for many. It is far too easy to get caught up in the consumer product frenzy that drives most of the US economy. It takes real fortitude to resist the constant marketing that goes on.

Another highly recommended book, which espouses a similar financial philosophy, is “The Millionaire Nextdoor” which is also easily available and inexpensive.

The bottom line is that those who consistently live below their income, save, and wisely invest regularly will find the peace that comes with financial freedom.
